Ao Yon a secret Gem

If you are looking for the perfect place for relaxation then Arysa Phuket Resort would like to recommend Ao Yon Beach, it is a secret gem and surely qualifies for being the most beautiful beach of southeast Phuket. Located in the south of Cape Panwa, Ao Yon bay is split into two sections. 

Whereas the eastern part features a small sandy beach along the road with easy access but only average appeal, the western beach is blessed with breathtaking beauty. When the water retreats at low tide, a huge white sandy beach shows up, although at high tide there is not much left of it.

The bay is occupied by the boats of Phuket Yacht Club Ao Yon, but you will hardly see any tourists on beach. As there are no sunchairs for rent, it is more a place for individualists to enjoy a gorgeous lonely beach.

There are a few restaurants and bars located locally that offer great food at reasonable prices. Cape Panwa nearby has a few shops, restaurants, bars not to mention some high end hotels, showing the exclusivity of the area. It is also a great place to get a longtail to Coral Island ( we will cover that in later blogs).
